"As a Goan and a former research scholar at BITS Pilani, I envisaged a dream of seeing more Goan students placed at prestigious institutes and scaling new heights in the fields of Medical, Engineering, and Pure Science. While working tirelessly to provide quality education, I also aim to make coaching affordable to ensure equity and fairness. As a teacher I could identify that Goan students have willpower to clear Competitive exams but they lack a strong base in the subjects thus their efforts go in vain. Hence my strategy is to strengthen their base thereby building strong conceptual knowledge and then motivating them for JEE/NEET preparations thus boosting their confidence in clearing the same. The conventional way of teaching subjects like Chemistry, Physics, Maths, and Biology proves to be little productive so to overcome this rigidity I have incorporated educational technology at my institution. The use of smartboards allows us to make teaching-learning more interactive and interesting, and the results are transformative. The current generation does not only need lessons in academics but they need a mentor who is more compassionate and helps in overcoming day-to-day challenges. We at Alchemist Academy conduct regular motivational talks and career guidance sessions along with one-to-one counseling sessions assisting them to sustain focus and learn stress and time management techniques. Apart from mainstream courses students are familiarized with other wide range of career options in the field, in accordance with their individual capacities."
